Pastor Elias and I became acquainted on my first trip to Africa in 2005 when he was working with the School of Christ International. He has proven to me to be a faithful man of God assisting me when I have travelled to Zambia in any way possible to further the Gospel. His face has been the first and last that I have seen when arriving and departing Zambia, he has driven me many miles, always been eager to care for my needs and never has he asked me for anything,
The obstacles he faces each and every day would cause many pastors to give up and quit, yet he travels throughout Zambia and neighboring countries to strengthen other pastors and leaders. When I was at his church in 2008 97% were unemployed, of the 3% who were employed their income was around $30 each month. He is in desperate need of a vehicle which would provide him with other ministry opportunities as well as being better able to minister his people. He did not have a vehicle when I was there in 2008, we rented a vehicle and he took care of all our logistics.
The Lord put it in my heart to raise the funds to purchase him a vehicle before Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011 with your help we can do it. If you would prefer to send a check make it payable to Perhaps Today Ministries, and mail it to P.O. Box 2052, Crestview, FL 32539.
